Bucks County Council Dorney Parking Review

Bucks County Council launched an informal consultation on parking restrictions in Dorney in May 2021. Their proposals would have been catastrophic for the church, because they would have prevented parking at or near the church in Court Lane, likely leading to it's demise. A campaign against the proposals was made, which included national press interest. Bucks CC closed the informal consultation on 6th June 2021.

Update - 6th October 2021

The Dorney Parking Review (including Court Lane) has been halted by Bucks CC. Dorney Parish Council will develop a more holistic plan for traffic in Dorney, which we will be engaged with to ensure Court Lane remains available for public parking and people using the Church and Churchyard.
